How to turn off or change the Roku screensaver
The Roku screensaver appears after a few minutes of inactivity. You can change how long it waits, swap it for a different one, or effectively turn it off.
Change the wait time or disable it
- Press Home, then go to Settings › Screensaver (or Settings › Theme › Screensaver on some versions).
- Select Change screensaver to pick a different one, or Disable screensaver where available.
- To make it rarely appear, set the wait time to the longest option (e.g. Never/After 1 hour) under the screensaver settings.
From your phone
You can reach the same Settings › Screensaver menu using the Roly app's D-pad if the remote isn't handy.
