How to change the input on a Roku TV
On a Roku TV, every input — HDMI devices, an antenna, the streaming home screen — is a tile on the Home screen, so switching sources is quick once you know where to look.
With the remote
- Press Home to go to the main screen.
- Scroll to the tile for the input you want (e.g. HDMI 1, Antenna TV, or a streaming channel).
- Press OK to switch to it.
From your phone
In the Roly app, press Home, then use the D-pad to highlight the input tile and press OK — exactly like the physical remote. Some Roku remotes and apps also have a dedicated input/source shortcut.
FAQ
- Why don't I see my HDMI device as an input?
- New HDMI sources only appear as tiles after you add them — go to Settings › TV inputs and enable the port, or make sure the device is powered on and the cable is fully seated.
