How to add channels to your Roku
Channels (Roku's word for apps) come from the Roku Channel Store. Adding one takes a few seconds and it appears on your home screen.
Add a channel
- Press Home, then scroll to Streaming Store (or Search to find a specific channel by name).
- Open the channel's page and select Add Channel.
- Sign in or subscribe if the channel requires it — the Roly app's keyboard makes entering logins much faster.
- The channel installs and appears at the bottom of your home screen; move it up by pressing the Star/Options button.
Remove a channel
Highlight a channel on the home screen, press the Star/Options button, and choose Remove channel to declutter and free up space.

- Are Roku channels free?
- Many are free, including the Roku Channel. Others are free to add but need a paid subscription to watch, and a few are one-time purchases. Adding a channel never charges you by itself.
