How to use voice search on Roku

Voice search is the fastest way to find something on Roku — no pecking at an on-screen keyboard. You can use it from a voice remote or from your phone.

From a voice remote

1. Press and hold the voice/search button (with the microphone icon).
2. Say what you want — a title, actor, genre, or a channel to open.
3. Release the button and pick from the results.

From your phone

With the Roly app connected, tap the voice or search control and speak your query — results appear on the TV. You can also type searches with your phone keyboard, which is handy in a noisy room.

Things to try

• "Open Netflix" to launch a channel.
• "Find comedy movies" to browse a genre.
• Search by actor or director name.
