How to screen mirror Android to a Roku
Roku supports screen mirroring from Android, so you can put your phone's screen — photos, apps, anything — on the TV over Wi-Fi.
Enable mirroring on the Roku
- Press Home, then go to Settings › System › Screen mirroring.
- Set Screen mirroring mode to Prompt (approve each time) or Always allow.
Mirror from your Android device
- Connect the Android device and Roku to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Pull down the quick-settings panel and tap Smart View / Cast / Wireless projection (the name varies by brand).
- Choose your Roku from the list and approve the request on the TV if prompted.

- Screen mirroring isn't connecting — why?
- Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi, screen mirroring is enabled on the Roku, and you approve the on-screen prompt. Restarting both devices clears most mirroring hiccups.
